The Nature is Bike festival, which has been awarded the “Eco-engaged Event” label (level 2, Reeve network) in 2022, has been committed to eco-design since its inception.
This naturally fits in with the continuous improvement approach of Destination Angers, which is ISO 20121 certified for the eco-responsibility of its events, but is also fully in line with gravel culture. Nature is Bike’s ambition is to share the practice of Gravel, which reveals a new art of living that combines discovery of the territories and exploration of nature, with the greatest respect for the environment.
Waste
Consigned ecocups, use of water bottles, waste weighed and sorted.
A green brigade will help you find your way to the right garbage can! Here, we avoid waste, and when there is some, we sort and recycle it! Can you help us increase the proportion of recycled or reclaimed waste (73.6% by 2022)? A mini waste collection center will be available to all participants.

Bus: Line 11 takes you directly to the event site from the station.
Train: The SNCF offers a €5 ticket from any station in the Pays de la Loire region to Angers between June 16 and 18, 2023.
Carpooling: If you’re coming by car, don’t forget that it can be used by others, thanks to the Togetzer carpooling platform.
Catering
Local and anti-waste products, vegetarian alternatives, recyclable containers and bio-waste recovery. An anti-waste charter will be signed by all our food partners to ensure that quantities are adapted to demand.
