Seasoned cyclists, come and ride the tracks of the Loire for 100km of pleasure and effort.

The Angevine Gravel ride

Gravel lovers, nature lovers, this cycling tour is made for you. Departure early (and in good spirits) for a hundred kilometres of a three-quarter Gravel route made up of gravel and earth paths. Between passionate Gravel riders to savour the Loire nature from the banks of the Loire river in the early morning to the vineyards of the Layon, then from the edeges of the Loir to the unique and singular landscapes of the Lower Valleys of Anjou. A refreshment point will be waiting for you at the halfway point, an opportunity to recharge your batteries before reaching the finish line. The Gravel 100 can be experienced as close to nature as possible! Discover Angers and its region, its exceptional natural heritage offering breathtaking landscapes.

 

You will soon find additional information on the course of the hike: registration, plate removal, gourmet stop, GPX track downloading process … Warning: this challenge is not open to mountain bikes.

An unprecedent gravel route with refreshment points, three-quarters of which is made up of gravel and earth paths, through the vineyards of the Layon, along the banks of the Loire and then through the unique and singular landscapes of the Lower Valleys of Anjou.

Registrations & conditions of participation

Limited to 300 participants. Must be a FFC licence holder or opt for the non-licenced formula including the subscription of a day pass. The event is open to all adults, male or female.

BIKES ALLOWED

Specific bikes for Gravel equipped with a handlebar – Cyclo-Cross type bikes equipped with a handlebar – Bikes equipped with tyres with a minimum section of 32 to 47 mm. Electrically assisted Gravel bicycles authorised, with staggered start times.

NON-BIKES ALLOWED

Hybrid bikes and all types of bikes equipped with flat handlebars. More details in the event rules below.
